ABOUT ME

Kim Meyering

Graphic Designer/Owner

 

After graduating from Garner-Hayfield High School in 2003, I continued my education at the University of Iowa, pursuing my hopes of one day having my own design business. During my design journey in college, I worked as a graphic designer for the University of Iowa Marketing and Design team. I was responsible for the design of the University Book Store, Iowa Hawk Shops, the University of Iowa Directory and numerous campaigns, including the MLK Celebration of Human Rights Week. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2007 with a degree in Studio Art, specializing in graphic design. I also received a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from the UI Tippie College of Business. With a passion for art and design, it didn't take me long to start my own graphic design business.

 

I enjoy working with all types of clients, including brides, high school and college graduates, parents, children, businesses, organizations, individuals, and the creativity it brings. I am able to work from my home with clients in different areas of the state and across the country, thanks to technology. Working from home also allows me to extend very low prices to my clients. I strive to give businesses and individuals creative, professional, quality and custom design at a very affordable price. My goal is to work with my clients to make sure the process is smooth, easy and stress-free with a great finished product.

 

My husband, Michael, and I, with our son Jace, live in Garner, Iowa, It's great to be back in our hometown! We also have a lot of love for our shih tzu, Bella. Michael is the PS-4 Principal at Garner-Hayfield-Ventura Elementary School in the Garner-Hayfield-Ventura Community School District. He enjoys being a positive influence for the students. I enjoy spending my free time dabbling in photography, crafting, sewing, knitting, baking, camping, fishing, being outdoors, playing games, watching Iowa Hawkeye football or basketball, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
